Jakarta - After going through a series of discussion processes, BNPT ratified the cooperation with Holding Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN III) and the University of North Sumatra (USU) in the signing of the Cooperation Agreement on Tuesday (15/6) afternoon. This activity was attended directly by the Head of BNPT, Commissioner General of Police. Boy Rafli Amar and attended by 1,300 participants consisting of PTPN III and USU via the zoom meeting application.
The signing of the Cooperation Agreement with the University of North Sumatra was signed by the Chancellor of the University of North Sumatra Dr. Muryanto Amin, Deputy for Prevention, Protection and Deradicalization of BNPT Major General TNI Hendri Paruhuman Lubis and Plt. Deputy for Enforcement and Capacity Building of BNPT Brigadier General of Police. Herwan Chaidir. While the BNPT PKS with PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III was signed by the President Director of PTPN III Persero Mohammad Abdul Ghani and the Deputy for Prevention, Protection and Deradicalization of BNPT Major General TNI Hendri Paruhuman Lubis. The signing of the PKS manuscript was witnessed directly by the Head of BNPT Boy Rafli Amar and the Head of BNPT for the 2016-2020 Period, Commissioner General of Police. (Ret.) Suhardi Alius.
The Head of BNPT, Commissioner General of Police. Boy Rafli Amar welcomed and supported the signing and implementation of the PKS in the future as a form of awareness of the dangers and responsibilities of the nation's future for the dangers of intolerant radicals and terrorism which are the shared tasks of every stakeholder. The scope of this Cooperation Agreement is:
Exchange of employee data and/or information;
Assistance in the preparation of internal guidelines in the context of preventing terrorism;
Provision of education and/or training;
Socialization of prevention of intolerant radicalism;
Screening of employees and/or prospective new employees; and
Other activities agreed upon by the parties.
After the signing, the event held by Holding Perkebunan Nusantara was continued with a Seminar on Religious Moderation to counter terrorism and radicalism. The speakers for the seminar consisted of Commissioner General of Police. (Ret.) Suhardi Alius, Deputy for Prevention, Protection and Deradicalization of BNPT, Major General TNI Hendri Paruhuman Lubis and Chancellor of the University of North Sumatra Dr. Muryanto Amin.
