Bogor - In accordance with the Regulation of the National Counterterrorism Agency Number 2 of 2020 concerning Procedures for Providing and Implementing Protection for Investigators, Public Prosecutors, Judges, and Correctional Officers and their Families in Terrorism Crime Cases, BNPT held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Preparation of Technical Guidelines for Administration and Protection Application Services for Law Enforcement Officers and their Families related to the Vulnerability Monitoring Team and the Monitoring and Evaluation Team on Thursday (10/6/21) in Jakarta.
The meeting was led by the Head of the Sub-Directorate for Protection of Law Enforcement Officers, Suroyo, S.H., M.Hum. The meeting was attended by BNPT, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia, Rokerma KL Mabes Polri, Divkum Polri, Densus 88, LPSK, Legal Bureau of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Directorate General of Corrections, Directorate General of Legislation.
This FGD focused on discussing legal protection in accordance with the mandate of PP Number 77 of 2019 and also Perban BNPT Number 2 of 2020, on the basis of which it is required to draft Technical Guidelines for the Provision and Implementation of Protection for Law Enforcement Officers and Their Families. At this meeting, it was also agreed to create an MoU between BNPT, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Indonesian Attorney General's Office, Rokerma KL Mabes Polri, Divkum Polri, Densus 88, and LPSK.
